Simon May
Simon May was born in London to German parents, a violinist and a brush manufacturer. Visiting professor of philosophy at King’s College London, his books include How to Be a Refugee; Love: A New Understanding of an Ancient Emotion; Love: A History; The Power of Cute; and Thinking Aloud, a collection of his own aphorisms, which was a Financial Times book of the year. His writing has been translated into ten languages and has featured in major outlets internationally, including the Financial Times, Washington Post, The Atlantic, Guardian, El País, El Mundo, Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, Vogue Italia, and Vogue España.
